Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
Peak Life is a shared camera roll for you and your friends. This policy explains what the app stores, why, and who can see it. Short version: your photos are shared only with the groups you put them in, we don't sell anything, and there are no ads or trackers.
What we store
- Account: your email address (or Apple's private relay address if you use Hide My Email), your name, username and profile photo.
- What you add: photos, videos and Live Photos you upload, with their metadata (when they were taken, size, and the location if the photo has one and you leave "Remove location" off), plus the folders, comments, reactions, votes and photo requests you create.
- Notifications: your device's push notification token and your notification settings.
- Safety: reports you make and people you block.
We don't collect analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, or your browsing activity, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Your photo library
Peak Life reads only the photos and videos you choose to upload. When you export, it saves photos into albums in your Photos app. Photo library access stays on your phone and is used only for those two things.
Who can see it
What you upload is visible only to the members of the group you put it in. Votes are anonymous: people see a photo's score, not who voted. Your name, username and profile photo are visible to people you share a group with.
Where it's stored
Account data and app data are stored with Supabase. Photos and videos are stored with Cloudflare R2. Push notifications are delivered by Apple. These providers process data only to run Peak Life. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. Deleting a photo removes it from the group. Delete your account in the app under You โ Delete account and your profile, uploads, comments, votes and reactions are deleted; stored files are cleaned up within a few days.
Children
Peak Life isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, delete anything you posted, turn off notifications, remove location from photos when you upload, block people, and delete your account. To ask about your data or request a copy, email us.
